This is my very first blog post... to all of you who took time out to read it - thank you! This may be the first and last time you drop in, but hopefully you'll check back to see if I actually succeed in keeping up a blog. Those of you who know me personally know my intentions are good. Why am I writing this blog? Good question.... lately I've realized I forget things. Well, not lately, this started when I became a mom. Moms out there will relate. My mom would tell me to write down the things my children said that I wanted to remember. At the moment I thought I would always remember those sweet or funny little comments forever. I should've listened to my mom.
This blog is not about sweet or funny comments though, it's about life. My children are older now and I have learned a lot of life lessons from simply living. Live and learn - that's the old saying. We all know it's true. I enjoy writing poetry and will include those from time to time. I also enjoy art and creating things. Who knows what all this blog will contain. I am a little scattered I'll admit, but I'll try to keep it simple, enjoyable, and real. My goal is to help someone's day become a little brighter by knowing there are real people out there who don't have it all together, but give it our best. Here's to 2020!
